Growing Through Conflict: Foundation Day in Cumbria

January 25, 2018 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pm

A chance to consider your ‘conflict style’, and how you respond in difficult or tense situations.

Explore how conflict escalates in a church context and begin to consider some tools to de-escalate conflict.

Who is the training for? The Foundation Day is designed for any in leadership (lay, ordained, stipendiary, paid or voluntary) in our churches.

What do I need to bring? Tea, coffee, cake and fruit will be provided throughout the day. You are asked to bring your own lunch, a Bible and paper. You will be asked to complete a short questionnaire in advance of the Foundation Day to identify your own style of responding to conflict.

How much will it cost? £10 per person. Your denomination or local church may be able to support you in paying.

Who will facilitate the day? The day will be facilitated by members of the Cumbria Growing Through Conflict Network in conjunction with Place for Hope.

For more information or to book (only a few places left) and pay please contact Brec Seaton: seatonb@methodistchurch.org.uk
